Nemacolin man jailed by feds on Mexican murder charge
PITTSBURGH (AP) -- A Nemacolin man is in federal custody awaiting an extradition hearing to determine whether he'll be taken to Mexico to face charges that he raped and strangled a 16-year-old boy in a hotel there more than eight years ago.
Authorities said Dylan Johnson, 29, was arrested at his home on Feb. 7 and faces an extradition hearing April 24 before a federal magistrate in Pittsburgh.
According to the criminal complaint, Johnson is charged with raping and murdering Hilario Garcia Rosales on Sept. 7, 2003 at a hotel in Empalme Escobedo in the Mexican state of Guanajuato.
